Amtrak

Amtrak is the country's national passenger railroad. It operates around the clock, travelling to destinations throughout the United States. There are many packages and special deals as well as rail passes for international visitors available.

In New York City, Amtrak serves Pennsylvania Station. Thousands of passengers pass through Penn Station every day. The train station is well equipped, with plenty information booths, restaurants, an enclosed waiting room, public restrooms, payphones, and car rental offices nearby.

The routes of Acela Express, Adirondack, Cardinal/Hoosier State, Carolinian and Piedmont, Crescent, Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, Keystone, Lake Shore Limited, Maple Leaf, Metroliner, Pennsylvanian, Regional, Silver Service/Palmetto, and Vermonter bring passengers up and down the whole east coast, to Chicago, New Orleans, and Canada.
