The Wall Street is not only the heart of the financial District in Lower Manhattan, it is also the epicenter of money, power, investments and big business. On this one small street, the New York Stock Exchange rubs shoulders with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Federal Hall National Memorial, which is located right across the famous New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Tours have been suspended since 9/11, but the building is impressive enough from the outside to make it worth seeing.
Down at the end of Wall Street many visitors marvel at the remnants of colonial New York, particularly Trinity Church and St. Paul's Chapel. Founded in the 1840's, the Trinity Church is a great example of the Gothic Revival architecture.
In front of the New York Stock Exchange a 7000 pound bronze Stock Market Bull Statue catches the attraction of every visitor. It is also called "Charging Bull" or "Wall Street Bull" and surely makes for a great photo.
