Splash Bar New York (SBNY)

The SBNY, formerly only Splash bar, opened in 1991. It has been rated Best Gay Bar by various magazines. The club covers 10,000 square feet on 2 floors. There is a stage on the main floor, where guest performers like Brittney Spears, Betty Buckley, Cindy Lauper and Grace Jones have already entertained the exclusively gay audience. The club features a state- of- the- art lighting system to make the dance night a real happening. The club can count Chris Cox, Max Rodriguez, and Tracy Young among its DJs.

The downstairs offers showers where go- go boys show their go- gos, and the more intimate 300 person occupancy lower lounge. Splash guests can expect muscle- baring, hot bartenders clothed only in boxer- briefs, disco drama, and frighteningly overendowed go- go boys.
