Yoga is an ancient tradition of self- healing and self- realization. It incorporates postures (asanas) and breathing, enhancing health through physical strength and mental focus and clarity. Yoga students benefit from strength, flexibility in joints and muscular system, recovery from injury and chronic pain, daily vitality and well being, health and longevity, and inner calm and focus.
Yoga Works offers classes and workshops combining time- honored Eastern practices with a foundation of strong Western medical ideas. Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga are the three traditional lineages that the yoga center draws from. With the array of yoga and teaching styles offered, people at all ages and stages of life will find classes suited for them.
There are classes seven days a week from morning to night. Students can participate in workshops and attend lectures and intensive seminars. Yoga Works also provides products for the yoga lifestyle.
Special programs include yoga for athletes, restorative yoga, pre and post natal yoga, yoga for kids, back care yoga for seniors, and flexible conditioning including pilates.

Posted by Hansel, 08 March, 2008I have been a yoga student here in Yoga Works nearly over a month now. What I've noticed was the consistency of my Yoga Instructor. She was very focus and determined. Every yoga class was great here whether your a beginner or not, you are still invited. It is great once you get the hang of it. Imagine, you get to have a wonderful workout at the same time.
