SORRENTO® CHEESE CHRISTMAS

Sorrento® Cheese Christmas in Little Italy is a three week holiday celebration in December. It will be held on Mulberry Street between Broome and Canal Streets, and on Hester Street between Mulberry and Mott Streets.
The streets of Little Italy will be brightly illuminated with overhead holiday lights and colorful decorations. Colorfully decorated restaurants, cafes and shops and a 20- foot tall Christmas tree with festive holiday decorations on Mulberry Street just north of Canal Street will be further attractions.
There will be many exciting activities for the entire family: Friday evening holiday tree lightings and musical performances, Saturday afternoon parades with colorful floats and marching bands and Sunday religious processions along Mulberry Street. Additionally, there will be live music on the streets by Italian brass bands and the Sorrento Cheese Christmas Carolers, a group of professional opera singers in Dickensian costumes, who will perform at the parades, tree lightings and also in local restaurants and cafes.
