Since its opening in June 1998, the Bowery Ballroom has evolved into the most popular music club of New York. Great bands, superb sightlines and sound have turned it into a live- music institution.
This venue, a former vaudeville hall, has an old- style theatrical stage, wide and open, which rises above the floor, and a balcony. The spacious main room has a 550- person capacity.
The club is equipped with well- stocked bars on all three levels, which makes it also a great post- show hang.
