The American Museum of Natural History is spread over an area of several city blocks and there are four floors of gallery space. Inside there are over 40 permanent exhibits and several temporary ones covering everything in creation from the beginning of time to the present, and every discipline of human science. It is so huge that visitors will have to do a lot of walking and stair climbing during their visit.
